Now bear with me here.
The term "social justice warrior" isn't new, but its been used heavily in the past two years, I think personally starting with the #StopKony mess that went around social media sites. Mostly with people fighting for oppressed groups (Blacks, LGBT, Woman) and their rights. Recently though, a trend has been popping up where suddenly people are turning into "SJW" over everything. From object sexual groups fighting for rights, asexual groups wanting their voices heard, white people wanting "#STOPWHITEPPL" hashtags stopped. Now and days its become a meme in itself.
It seems like the new trend of today with teenagers if finding small quirks about themselves and convincing themselves that they're oppressed and in need of social rights like minorities, LGBT, and Woman. So is Oppression the hot new trend?
