Starstruck is not charting in the UK and neither is TD so I don't get how you can assume they hit platinum but not Paparazzi which is weird since Paparazzi already sold 590k+

EDIT: All of GaGa's albums are charting in the UK, the only Katy album charting in the UK right now is PRISM so idg how her catalog sales is bad

All of GaGa's albums are charting in the UK, the only Katy album charting right now is PRISM so GaGa also have longevity there and I wouldn't call her catalog sales bad
and the same thing said about Paparazzi can be said about SS and TD despite both of these songs selling less than Paparazzi

and idg why are you dragging GaGa's charting number when you were just bragging about how starstruck was charting out of the top 1000

it re-entered
There's a difference between the album sales and singles sales, that's why digital album sales in the UK are weak
there you go, it re-entered (will probably disappear again and then re-enter etc but you know it's charting despite it being a random duet released 5 years ago)
1462 3OH!3 Starstrukk (feat. Katy Perry)
Teenage Dream also re-enters regularly along with E.T. (you can also see LFN, Wide Awake, TOTGA, etc charting despite not being big hits like TD)

No they are NOT Platinum  . It's different in the UK. The week a song passes the 600k mark it gets certificed. It could sell like 1 copy that week and go from 599,999 to 600,000 and get the certification. So I was right, you intension was to show Katy has more Platinum singles.
Why do you always have to be so messy. Both Gaga & Katy had success with singles in the UK. Why can't we celebrate them both? Just be honest for once.

"Bad catalog sales" Just cuz right now she has no singles in the top 1500 it means nothing. She had a flop era. With 1 performance there a dozen of her songs could be back and with a song on the radio they could keep charting. It's all about THIS moment.
The Fame had amazing longevity in the UK, just 100k away from hitting the 3M mark - one of the biggest selling female albums of all time. Born This Way is just 9k away from 1M.
One flop/underperforming era means nothing.
