Mixed feelings. I just hope/pray that the parents are aware of their child's identity and knowledgeable about how to raise them so they aren't confused or hurting. If you're raising a black baby, they need to have black people in their lives/you need to be prepared to answer difficult questions about race/etc.

like unless you had some incredible bond at your local orphanage, you went out of your way to get a baby different race

like, why??? I can't imagine adopting a non-black baby so I don't know how these people do it. I guess if you do international charity work that somewhat makes sense, but that's not how/why most people adopt
