Oh sis . I never implied that Britney (or any of my faves for that matter) have great catalogue sales. We're talking about Stefani here. And playing the "HATER!!!" game doesn't change that GaGa's only recurrent hit is "Poker Face" and that she's one of the major pop girls with the least YouTube / Google / Itunes searches at the moment.
The point it's that people like Madonna, Bon Jovi, Frank Sinatra, Mariah Carey, Metallica, Aerosmith, U2, etc. (and even Britney Spears if you please) are established icons with several decades of success that are way past their peak. GaGa's NOT a legend whatsoever (yet) and grouping her with the likes of the aforementioned it's just.... GaGa is a 2008 act and belongs to the current group with Katy Perry, Rihanna, Nicki, etc. It's just kinda odd that her smashes from the 00's aren't being purchased just a couple years later, that's all .
That being said, poor catalog sales aren't really unusual, so there's no reason to be upset . Someone uber popular like Justin Bieber has no recurrent hits neither but if this thread was about him it would go unreported and everyone (including the Monsters) would be dragging him, I mean let's not be hypocritical now ...

Why is Gaga such a hot topic on ATRL? You would have thought that with all of the flop records, public disinterest,etc. that users on here would forget about her and her music sales. Perhaps the tragic thing is the fact that some users on here are obsessing over someone they claim to be so irrelevant. Some of you should really seek psychological help.
