Singer Leona Lewis has decided to take a break from her trademark ballads and work on dance music, it has emerged. The pop singer has won accolades for her emotive tracks such as Bleeding Love and Run, but she is now keen to change her direction.
She has teamed up with American producer Timbaland for new album. Timbaland is hoping to make her sound the same as R&B stars Beyonce Knowles and Rihanna.
“Timbaland can''t wait to work with Leona and make her feisty like Beyonce and Rihanna,” Contactmusic quoted a source as saying. "The ballads will still be there but the tracks will be racier and there'll be dance floor anthems too."
