south asia = india, sri lanka, nepal, bangladesh, pakistan, etc.
southeast asia = thailand, indonesia, laos, cambodia, malaysia

i was watching ANTM when they went to thailand and bali and i thought the clothes and food looked indian influenced
All these countries were connected and called the "Indies" before outsiders came in. Southeast Asia had a huge influx of Chinese settlers who changed the population, and then invaders from West Asia (Middle East) and Europe brought Islam and Christianity to both South Asia and Southeast Asia.

They have so much money. The wedding is taking place in Udaipur, Rajasthan and there are so many poor people in that state in India. I wonder how much money the couple gave to local Rajasthanis.
