Guys read the OP carefully. It's saying the TEST AUDIENCES, ratings plummeted.
In reality, the ratings grew from a 4.6 in adults 18-49 (the most relevant and important demo when it comes to television today) to a 4.7. This is unheard of . Shows in the past decade have almost never grown in ratings from episode 1 to subsequent episodes. The gay kiss did nothing to ratings at all. If anything, it made the ratings grow more.

No, read even more carefully: the ratings of the test audience plummeted. Not that the test audience said that the ratings would plummet..
I don't see that way. Most people don't get turned on by a man having sex with another man, them not wanting to watch it is totally respectable. Most members here can't stand straight sex and no one is forcing them to watch.
It's a noble act from this guy, but the show will suffer if it keeps going, more than 90% of the population is not turned on by it.
This. And in a democracy you should be able to say your opinion without being attacked or stuff like this. Some people need to learn that not everyone agrees with their lifestyle or opinion. And I'm gay too but I understand it, when someone doesn't like it. As long as they respect me as a human being I'm fine because being gay is not the first verb that describes me. Sex should be banned from movies and series like this in general btw.
The actual audience views has increased every week since it's debut. TBH I don't think many people have a problem with the gay subplot otherwise the viewers would reflect it.
As if. The actual ratings rose for the 5th time in a row. It's quite clear people aren't bothered as Jamal's plot is pivotal and he's probably the most well-liked character after Cookie . Some of the self-loathing here though...
