I wouldn't be mad at Birdman taking BP. The acting in the movie was what I loved most, Emma Stone impressed me for the first time and Zach's character/performance was so good. The script was brilliant too. The performances were so good they enhanced the plot instead of bloating it, which is a testament of great directing.
Boyhood's story was refreshing, but never have I seen a movie that depends so much on its "supporting" actors to stay afloat.
