Last week, before all the pomp and circumstance of the 57th Annual Grammy Awards took place on Sunday, Complex shared a video that focused specifically on the rap categories and the lack of respect the Grammys have shown to artists in hip-hop, historically. One very revealing fact: Seattle rapper Macklemore has more Grammys to his name than Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, and many other influential rappers. And that Grammy total is combined.

It looks like West Coast legend Snoop Dogg happened to come across our video, as he posted a screenshot of the image used in the clip with the caption, "**** the Grammys we need a hip hop show for real niggaz n real mcs." For those counting at home, Snoop Dogg has been nominated 16 times for a Grammy over the years but he has yet to win. Snoop once joked he was the Susan Lucci of the Grammys—Lucci has been nominated 21 times for an Emmy, but has only won once.

I agree. Macklemore should of never won and Iggy shouldn't of even be considered for any rap category whatsoever. Its really sad how the Grammys reward mediocre if its white. The part that got me the most was the comparion of Macklemore to rap legend who never won. And the Comparison of Iggy to female rap legends. Truly sad. Glad the Grammys didn't make the same mistake of last year this past Sunday

Mess at Rap legends never even being winning nor nominated, now I really dont care about the Grammys for real
