As a person who has used both. If you're not gonna customize your phone just get an iPhone. I prefer iPhones for their cameras they can't be beat.
Don't waste your time with a Windows, their app selection sucks. Android apps are okay, but when compared to iPhones they are lacking in quality. Like Twitter, infact many of the major apps are second thoughts on non Apple phones. If you don't care for apps that much get a high end Android like Google Nexus. But for a general user that wants something easy an iPhone is your best bet.

May I ask what feature are you focused most on? Camera? Display? Battery life? Sound system? Gaming?
I read reviews and since 2014 the best reviewed phones are: Iphone 6, Sony Xperia Z3, LG G3, and HTC One M8.
I would get M8 because it's the cheapest and not too far behind in specs (has the best sound system though), but it wasn't available in my area.
I also heard feedback from a friend who owns G3 that it wasn't snappy and lags quite a bit.
Iphone 6 was too high end for me. Most expensive out of the 4 and the specs doesn't warrant the price.
I personally got Z3 after much deliberation. Very impressive phone, 20 mp camera and very sharp and bright screen. Perfect for gaming and watching movies.

well, I have iPhone 4s, I LOVE IT, I've been eyeing to get the 6+ but my bro said I might wanna try the Note 4 its equally big, but as u said the apps are as amazing as iPhone tbh, I think I'm gonna sick with the 6+, and Ill buy an original cover for it and Ill take good care of it so it wont bend!
and no I don't look for gaming in a mobile, I mostly surf the internet, edit pix to post on my blog and chat ( the regular social network thing)
