I am open to discussing racism and sexism in the music industry but saying an album is better than another before hearing it? Saying S/T changed the way we see music when there might've been 20-30 albums total in history who have done that? I don't see much of a point there tbh.
I would've been fine with S/T winning AOTY because even though I think it isn't the best album of the year in terms of music, it made a very important point: that the album isn't dead yet.No matter how many people claim it is albums still come along and do something interesting and exciting with it, which is something I appreciate it for.
