A Briton has been remanded in custody in Spain for allegedly killing a German man he caught filming his young daughter with an iPad.
Police arrested Kainth Davinder, 40, on Saturday night after he allegedly attacked Sandro Rottman at Spinnaker restaurant in Sotogrande, an exclusive resort on southern Spain's Costa del Sol.
Authorities said that the victim, 43, had been charged with possession of child ****ography days before, although it is not known if the British man was aware of that.
A spokeswoman for the Civil Guard said that Davinder had appeared before a magistrate and been remanded in custody accused of homicide.
She said: "The discussion apparently began because of alleged recordings that the victim was making of the aggressor's daughter.
"When he (the aggressor) saw what was happening he took the tablet off him, saw the recordings, threw the device to the ground and attacked him.
"The victim had been arrested by the Civil Guard a few days ago for possession of child ****ography."
Davinder allegedly asked Rottman on several occasions to stop filming his daughter, thought to be younger than eight, but the German national persisted, the spokeswoman added.
When officers arrived at the scene they found Rottman with "very serious" wounds, although it is understood no weapons were used during the attack. (Read the full article)

He hasn't any rights on deciding if a person should be dead, that's what justice is for. He should totally go to jail, there's no justify for killing.
Maybe an attenuation, but there's no way he isn't going to jail.
I don't think people in the general public should be allowed to kill pedophiles. I know many people could argue they deserve to die, and perhaps they're right, perhaps they're wrong, that's not the issue. The issue with this imo is that if members of the general public are legally allowed to kill pedophiles, then you'll get situations where someone who's simply suspected of being a pedophile might be killed when in fact they weren't one.
If a country decides that pedophiles should receive the death sentence, that's fine, but the killings should be left up to the Government or legal system or whatever. I don't think members of the general public can be trusted with this.

People have been let off for this type of thing before. I remember a story about a woman killing the man who raped her child and she didn't go to jail and it was cleared from her criminal record. Don't count it out.
If it were here in the states he would be going to jail unfortunately. We have a guy a few miles from us that did the same thing basically. He is a Vietnam veteran that killed a pedophile after he walked on a technicality. He spent 20 years in prison and now lives in a tent in the woods. I see him at the gas station all the time people give him food and gas for heating and the police and fire routinely check on him. He will walk up to the gas station, empty the garbage cans, sweep the place grab a coffee and head back in to the woods.
The way I see it he served our country overseas and one more time when he got home.
I dont think he shoul've been killed but I don't blame him.
