Lady GaGa's unique and, some might say, crazy style has wowed the fashion pack and started a trend for all things skin tight and oversized but the backlash has began.

Not everyone is a fan off the singer's leotards and 3D dresses and The Rakes frontman Alex Donohoe has accused GaGa of looking like a prostitute.

He told the Daily Star: "I can't stand Lady GaGa. She is basically selling crap to kids. I think she's terrible and really ugly. I hate her."

He added: "Lady GaGa is trash and dresses like a prostitute."

Gabriella Cilmi has also had her say on the singer's style telling the paper: "I saw this picture of Lady GaGa touching her crotch and I wasn't keen on that. She needs to put some clothes on.

"Eventually you're just going to catch something and have to go to hospital if you keep walking around in your bra and knickers."

Hmm sounds a bit like sour grapes to us, could these fellow musicians be a teeny bit jealous that Lady GaGa is at number one for a second week?

We say ignore them GaGa! We love your original look and it's great to see someone doing something different with their fashion.

This band got a very minimal amount of press for creating the soundtrack for a Dior Homme fashion show and suddenly they think they should dispense fashion advice? In basically every picture I've seen of them they seem to be bundled up in ill-fitting peacoats and skinny jeans, that though still stylish, do not indicate they are on the cusp with cutting edge fashion or demonstrate that they have amazing taste.

If he thinks GaGa dresses like a prostitute, these guys must be hanging around some rather visionary and avante-gard street *****s.
