P!nk's "Glitter In the Air" remains, according to Billboard Magazine, the best performance at the Grammys of the last 15 years. For those who missed the 2010 Awards, it is fortunate that we live in the age of video streaming and YouTube, because missing this performance would have been a virtual crime and a cruel shame. So here you go ... Pink's performance, to put it bluntly, was simply beautiful. Elegant. Graceful. Stylishly brilliant. From the lifting LIVE vocals to the downplayed white-cowled singer that emerged from her constraints as if reborn to fly above the audience. It was artistic triumph. It was a graceful weaving of song and staged theatrics. And although there is no awards given for Best Live Performance at Grammy Awards, there is no doubt that Pink walked away the winner of the show that night.





P!nk was on Oprah the next day talking about the performance. In Oprah's words: "I had to get closer to TV just to believe what I was seeing. That was a jaw-dropping, ceiling-hanging, almost-naked ripped-body situation"

Yes, it was amazing. I still remember watching it.

Od course, I was literally glued to the screen, and how glitter in the air rose on itunes, stupid label for not making it a single asap.

Yeah, it was beautiful. Unfortunately she tried to recreate it last year. Some things should remain untouched.

It really was one of those "once in a lifetime" performances. Yeah it had been done over 100 times on tour but going so far above the audience and having more room and a better outfit just made everything perfect.

It wasn't recreated. She did what she did on tour for the song. A different kind of acrobatic trick. See, there's different forms of the art. Different styles and rigs.

It was a phenomenal performance.

And she ruined it by repeatedly trying to recreate it.

It's like me saying Yoncé keeps recreating her performances because she dances #Ignorant

Iconic performance

While it's true that she has done a few aerial acrobatic performances since then (a very small trick during the 2012 video music awards and Try during the 2014 grammy awards), she has never done this performance at another award show nor has she tried to recreate it. P!nk has been doing aerial acrobatic performances for over 10+ years and this was just the first time the general public noticed it. The two subsequent award show performances with aerials featured different disciplines on different apparatuses.
