That 2002 remake is absolutely dreadful. The acting was embarrassingly bad.
The 2013 one is light years better. Chloë and Julianne Moore delivered. NOTHING can top the original, of course.

Hold up, Patrica Clarkson did horrible but Angela Bettis actually slayed. She sold me with the Carrie role because she was so quirky and weird.
Not gonna disagree about it being a bad film though.
