Demi is a much better vocalist though. Are twice as many people paying twice as much just to see Selena's beauty? Also Selena is prettier then Lorde, Taylor etc who don't have this problem. Why is that?

Lol nope. Everything Selena does performs better than Demi except on some things in Stars Dance and DEMI lol
Because Selena is more talented, has more appeal, is a better performer, has better music, bigger and more hits, is more likeable and people like her tone more. It's pretty clear.
