Well atrl, what skincare range do you swear by and why? I'm currently using the Neutrogena visibly even range and although it's great for keeping skin looking even toned it doesn't stop or prevent breakouts. What would be the best that does both. I hear good things about Clinique but I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that won't work. I have oily skin

I use a mixture of Kiehls and Clinique

Kielhs has great face washes and toners/tonics

Clinique has the best exfoliants and moisturizers

It's been working for me until the last 3 weeks. I have a huge pimple in my face right now and it's not common acne. It's super infected, it's called cystic acne. It's the only thing bad with my skin right now, otherwise it's pretty flawless. But this pimple is really really really nasty and completely ruining my perfectly smooth skin. I've been trying everything to get it treated but home remedies only go so far I guess.
I'm seeing a dermatologist this week so this bitch can say goodbye and leave my perfect face.

retinol and benzoyl peroxide is what you should look for in the ingredients list of the products you buy. Benzoyl peroxide prevents and kills acne, and retinol helps prevent future breakouts and evens skin tone. I usually use Benzoyl in the morning with good sunscreen and the retinol is only supposed to be used at night.

A good lightweight moisturizer also helps

I wash my face, then spray rose water and put jojoba oil on top of that. It's the best thing that happened to my face and it works much better than all those expensive creams and products that I already wasted my fortune on. I don't have any big problems with my skin, it was dry before and oily sometimes but now looks healthy and moisturized.

I used to have horrible acne (still have a couple here and there but its wayy better now) and I found the gentler the stuff I used the better. I like the Cerave face wash and neutrogena moisturizer. I try and use the gentlest most basic products possible because they tend to work the best for me. Benzoyl Peroxide is good for spot treatment.

I use L'Oreal Hydra Active 3 series. Day and night cream and sometimes the face wash. My skin is normal/dry and this really helps to keep it hydrated

I've been using this and lemon juice also but it whitens your skin soooooo much My cheeks, nose and forehead and permanently rosy hued like I'm from Scandinavia or something I'm white as **** because of this but it DOES work wonders on killing acne. I only use it for spot treatment because of its lightening properties.

What do guy guys recomend on treating cystic acne? I have this one pimple that it's completely ruining my skin and nerves.

I'm doing the most for this bitch: Baking soda masks, honey with cinammon and nutmeg, turmeric power with honey, apple cider vinagre and lemon juice. Even freaking POTATOES rubbing on my face. Banana peals, LOTS and TONS of water and green tea and this BITCH is still on my face. I accidentaly popped the zit and now I'm doing all this to treat the infection and preventing it from spreading.

Hell, I'm even swalloing raw garlic with ginger tempered water

Sometimes. Maybe I should add more water because it kinda stings sometimes ...

My skin care regimen:

scrub face with loofa / Dove bar soap to exfoliate, then this L'Oreal 360 clean face scrub and every now and then this 'L'Oreal toner to shrink the size of my pores.

I will say it has done wonders in keeping my skin clear, an also I use the O'lay Regenerist Anti-Aging cream because moisturizing, particularly good quality anti aging creams are truly the key to amazing skin as you age.
