It's one of my ultimate pet peeves when someone does not know how to hold a knife and a fork the correct way when cutting into things like steak, and working at Outback I see this DAILY and it kills me. Besides that, when people chew/talk with their mouths full of food is (I also see this everyday)
I just hate it when people are on their phones at the dinner table like once you sit down the phones go away and stay away for the whole meal
!!!
I will tell my friends to put down their phones even if they don't like it, like we're eating, you don't have to be communicating through your phone
People who chew with their mouths open while smacking their lips so loudly it can be heard in the next room.
People who talk with their mouths open and spit food all over.
People who belch without trying to soften it or without saying excuse me or without covering their mouths. (accidental burps excluded).
People who suck their teeth for ten minutes after a meal rather than use a toothpick.
All of the above annoy me and more often than not, I will make a rude comment about it.
Talking with food in your mouth is disgusting but I could care less how people hold their knife/fork, it doesn't affect me in any way, and I will hold mine whatever way is most comfortable for me.

It's not about it affecting you, it's about having the proper etiquette which I'm guessing you don't have.
Loud, unnecessary smacking and slurping. Like, we're eating, of course there will be a little noise, but nobody wants to hear you unknowingly smack away on your food...
I don't give a **** how people cut their meat and what side of their plate they put their fork on but gross manners like smacking food, burping, and getting food on their clothes piss me off. Unless you're 6 none of that should be happening.
I Sharted once at the table then I cried when everyone started to laugh then I sneezed and a booger flew in my mouth I spit it out and it landed in the dressing. So I'm not one to talk on this matter.
