I used to be like you until I took a course in college on climate change and saw the unpopular movies you have never heard of and it completely convinced me to change my opinion. My opinion now is that global warming is certainly happening but it is mostly not human caused. It is simply caused by the natural cycle of our climate. While humans have some small part in it, it is insignificant and these things like "Earth Hour" mean absolutely nothing.

I have been thinking about this lately. Human being is just like other species, put others in danger, put itself in danger, and it will be extincted someday just like dinosaurs, new things will arise to live in our earth. The vital thing in here is how to make it last longer! I do not say forever. But parallel with making it last longer, we still have to make it lasting longer in good healthy environment for next generations.
We, human, are the most important factor that effect others and earth, make the destruction, the going down process, comed faster. I know it will come up, improve someday, but it is too early for us, for extinction.
