on the other hand, Bangerz for example, isn't exactly relatable with weird sounding music to the GP and so they don't think its that nice

Because it's "nothing like the EDM on the radios" and it's so "simple" yet "soulful" and it has "real meaning," it's "real music"

Because it's full of boring ballads/midtempos, that kind of music always gets praise especially if it's successful.
