Is this a joke?
No shade to the lawyers, because they work damn hard to get where they are, but securing a place in any respectful university for medicine is not an easy feat (neither is the case for law but it's not as intense).
In the U.K., aspiring doctors/GPs have to study until they're in their late 20s (even longer if they're specialising). Most lawyers do 3 years at university and then do a training contract (which isn't exactly easy to get).
A medicine degree is more respected and the career path is held to more prestige.
