Anyway the answer is, it should be by now, but I just don't feel it. The GP does not put her in the same catalog as Whitney, Mariah etc. I guess her lack of radio presence throughout most of her career made that decision for them.

To a degree but in the recent years, her singing has become synonymous with screaming so the legacy of the supposed "voice" has been greatly tarnished.
Also, there are many more recognizable and legendary voices out there ahead of Xtina.

Whitney and Mariah were way bigger and more highly respected at Christina's current age. Christina will not be called a legend in the way Mariah and Whitney are. She peaked incredibly fast and lost momentum less than 10 years into her career. Plus Whitney and Mariah brought much more to music in only a few short years than what Christina has in her entire career.
