Taylor is doing 8-10M views daily on youtube just with her first 2 singles
If the style music video is really good, i can see her doing 15M daily
(way more the first week of the release of the video, of course)
It's barely scrapped 4 million, so nut that impressive. BS is only at 3.3 million. The new Rihanna.
She loses a lot of sales to 1) Complete My Album 2) the fact that people don't need to buy her singles when they already have the album.
Stans tend to forget that the purpose of singles is ultimately to promote the era as a whole. 1989's singles have been incredibly successful in selling the album + tour so far.

So it was Scott's idea he suggested to Taylor to take her music off Spotify, not her original idea.
Quote:
[Taylor's catalog] is arguably the most important current catalog there is. When I went to her and said I want to pull the whole thing, she was completely in. Would I have done it if she didn't want to? No.
We already knew this tho. Scott said something that Taylor never wants to put her material upon release because it devalues her work, and he suggested her that all her music has the same value, that they should do this bold statement of pulling the whole thing out of there!

edit: Also, "nut" ??? Stop trying to be GU.
I've used "nut" for quite a while now, so you can stop.

But I'm fairly certain a lot of people were under the assumption it was her original idea to pull it off Spotify, and not one that was sugessted to her. She was probably too busy planning The 1989 North American Tour ft. limited stops in Asia, Australia and Europe to worry about it anyway.
Went to go stream this on Spotify which I ****ing pay for and this bitch pulls her album cause she thinks she is all high & mighty. I have no problem paying for music but if you are gonna **** block people I hope no one buys your album. This is just a reminder on why people pirate music. Nice upload

I was hoping this would drop on Spotify since I pay monthly to use it but after she decided to screw us all over by removing everything, I decided to ******* it. So well done Taylor, you could have had something from all my listens on Spotify but now you get nothing.
They can stay pressed. 6 million people decided to buy it. Don't need those flops.
I dont get why ppl said BS lacks of longevity
it topped the chart in its 3rd week, that makes sense if it plummeted down in chart now and it has sold 3.3mil, while SIO is still around 3.9mil
And if it surpassed SIO's sales, you all will call SIO flop

Both songs already sold more than 7M copies in USA alone
