I've kinda regarded it as being able to combine skills, and maybe my memory is just shaky but I dont remember a Ciara performance where she combined elements of what she's capable of and been 'great' in every sense.. to warrant this 'greatest performers of our generation' thing anyway

I see performers as artists that are able to combine all of their skills in the best way possible and put on a great show.
Beyonce, Britney, Ciara, Gaga, JLo, and Pink (listed in alphabetical order btw) are the best performers of our generation in my opinion. Some of them aren't "one of the best" at singing and some aren't "one of the best" at dancing, but when combined, they know how to put on a great show. That's what I see as a performer.
