My only issue is that Britney stans cling to the "no promo" excuse when "rationalizing" her recent receipts; yet prior to Britney Jean's flop, the Army said that Britney could sell well on name alone and didn't need any promo.
No matter which way you spin it, both Britney and Christina are doing roughly the same career-wise.
Both of their latest eras struggled and have sold roughly the same. Both of their singles under-performed and their second singles from each album peaked in the 80s (at least Perfume had a video, Just a Fool didn't).
Britney has Vegas. Christina makes roughly 12 million a year on The Voice--people can ridicule X for that, but the Voice averages 11 million per episode so it's still great exposure for her.
At least Fighters get to see their fav perform on live television occasionally. Britney hasn't had a televised performance since.. 2011?
People can analyze receipts any which way they want, but Britney's CURRENT career isn't any better than Christina's. Both have had impressive careers and I tip my hat off to both ladies tho.
I'm ready for X6. Christina seems happy and actually INTO making music this time around so I'm hoping it translates into a quality record. I have a feeling it will better than Lotus.
Britney has been successful in music longer than Xtina has. like i don't even know how you can argue against this when all of the data says so. that doesn't necessarily mean Xtina was/is insignificant and doesn't deserve to have any recognition. she has her own place. just because she hasn't had the longevity that Britney has/had doesn't make her useless.
Work Bitch aka Britney's "flop" single for her "flop" album peaked at #12 while Your Body peaked at #32.

also I don't know how anyone can claim Britney is only successful based on her past career when her last top 10 was 4 years ago (2 if you count S&S) with a #1 single that year and Xtina's last top 10 was 7 years ago.
if y'all wanna believe that xtina will capitalize on Say Something aka a song that she was only half a part of that was released 2 years ago than you can. just like she "capitalized" on Moves Like Jagger & Feel This Moment.
I consider myself a Britney stan and I generally like Xtina but why are y'all as petty as your fave? why do y'all need to keep bringing up the Britney comparisons? why can't y'all just consider her in her own league and just let it be? i need answers. nobody has cared about this "feud" since 2006.
