An idol chooses the song his/her opponent will sing. It has more drama, it'll test their bond and friendship.

Not enough for Idol to use. Her record label would not allow her full discography of singles to be used for Idol. If they did add some of the Destiny's Child singles, then they'd have plenty.

That one and creating their own songs are the best theme said in this thread so far!
