People really think Katy is able to create thing like 1989? Even best songs on Prism (It Takes Two, Choose Your Battle etc. as claimed by the good sister G.Skill) are lyrically uninspiring. I do think Katy is at her best when she's doing fun pop songs like Birthday but lets not talk about this and get off topic.
Okay lets say Katy releases 1989, I'm sure even if it gets a 60+ MC score, it would be at the upper end instead of a 61.

1989 has already sold 528k copies in first five weeks of 2015. It probably has lowest sales so far this week but i predict it still can pull 60k+ which impressive tbh. Yeah, no Grammy performance may affect its sales next week but it doesn't mean we have has zero boost. We will see significant increase next week and hopefully SIO can snatch something so we can get bigger boost. And not to mention that Style will be officially released as single and SNL promo with upcoming music video can catalyst its sales momentum
So, I predict 1989 will hit 1M mark within next 10 weeks since we just need another 472k copies
