Oh sorry, I must have missed the part announcing that her Live Nation contract (and Warner Bros in the past) specifically stated that she had to meet fans? Can you link me? Because I've always understood that she is a private person who enjoys keeping herself to herself.

And don't try and give me the 'well if she's so private she wouldn't be so attention seeking' because that's different. She gives her all when she's onstage, you can see it in videos. Heaps of audience participation. She clearly prefers to keep her distance while off stage but she often posts fan art on Instagram and communicates with her fans on social media. And it's definitely her.

But yeah, please link me to anywhere that contradicts the above. Would love to see the clause where she agreed to selling her entire life away to fans.

You think only just a few random people would come up to her if she were recognized? She would get SWARMED, not just by fans but also the general public. People tend to go nuts when they see a huge star. Everyone knows who Madonna is.

She is in this industry for more than 30 years. When she wants to be recognized, she dresses up, when she doesnt, she covers herself and tries to go about her business unrecognized. It would bother every sane person that you cant go anywhere as a private person (and a mother) without fans following you everywhere.

Just because she is a celebrity doesnt mean she has no right for privacy or that she has to be always dressed up and ready to pose with her fans for a selfie. That doesnt mean that her relationship with her fans is bad, not at all.

Madonna is from the generation of real popstars and rockstars who are stars on stage but still have a life and want their privacy. She has children too, how annoying would it be to walk around with them and be harassed by people all the time? It makes her more humble and like a real normal person to me. I actually love it that she's normal. There are a lot of stories of people who sometimes see her in a store with her kids and they didn't even recognise her first because she just talks and is totally like a real person without photographers behind her like some stupid kardashian

The funniest story is when Madonna herself said in an interview people often come up to her and say "hey, did you know you look so much like madonna?" and she smilingly says "Oh thank you"
