I'm glad intelligent people in the hip-hop community understand it's ridiculous to complain about Iggy Azalea based on her image. As Raekwon says, there are a lot of people in hip-hop who aren't necessarily about that life who don't get any hate. She's doing what she's doing, and it's not hurting anyone.

And no, I'm not a fan of hers. But it's ridiculous the amount of hate she gets. It's not her fault we lose our **** at a white girl rapping but shrug our shoulders when we see a black woman do the same.

I just wish everyone would stop treating her like this helpless victim. A lot of her criticism she brought on herself, but no one wants to acknowledge that.

Where was all these celebrities when Nicki was getting so much hate? Poor Iggy, pretty white girl getting victimized because of her offensive racist/transphobic/homophobic comments and ha lack of talent.

Not to mention everyone acts like Nicki is a bully to her when Iggy was making shady Twitter comments about Nicki since 2010.

The only valid criticism I've heard is in regards to her appropriating the worst tendencies of hip-hop culture. It does seem like she has a one-dimensional view of hip-hop, and that is certainly reflected in her music.
