I don't even like the bitch but she FAR exceeded my expectations. If Katy Perry is ever in town again I'd seriously consider seeing her on tour. I probably still won't because I really hate some of her songs like Teenage Dream, California Girls and Firework but she did a great job at keeping my attention regardless. She stayed true to her artistry and I commend her for it. I don't see why people are even attempting to claim that Beyonce's was far better without a doubt. They both have their strengths & they played them well.

Personally I found Katy's performance far more captivating & entertaining despite liking Beyonce's discography FAR better. Beyonce was great and her live vocals/choreo were excellent as per usual... but Katy's production was killer and ambitious. Beyonce did what I expected of her and nothing more. The controversy surrounding that one photo her team wanted taken down lived on longer than her actual performance. Katy also spawned a minor celebrity.. people are already scrambling to find Shark costumes & Snoop Dogg may have been in one of the suits. Very memorable performance. A lot of fun.
