Her first era produced a number 2 hit and the best selling female dancehall album this millenium

Her second album sold over 3.7M worldwide produced two top tens and a number one song

Her third album was a success and sold over 3.3M worldwide producing again, a number hit and two more top tens

Not to say Gaga isn't one of the biggest musicians these past 10 years but Rihanna is definitely bigger.

Nope. Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry all have had higher peaks, earned more money and had higher averages per album. Rihanna is definitely up there as far as the hits go.

Rihanna has dominated everything musically since 2007 and shes still dropping number 1 hits 8 years later that's consistent and when her Album drops and more singles she will once again dominate the airwaves and dancefloors and charts globally her videos with absolutely smash and her TV performances will be the talk of the time.

I feel like Rihanna is almost there. Not in katy's tier, but not in gaga's either and lord knows she's nowhere near Adele. But she will get there sooner than her peers so that's no biggie

If you wanna talk numbers and sales, she's the only artist in history to sell 184 million records in just 10 years and at the age of 27.

If you wanna talk material, she has the most diverse discography, videography and overall catalog. And as you know, the more diverse your material is, the more kinds of people you appeal to, which only makes you a bigger superstar.

When you take both these sides of her success into consideration - all the material she's released, all the diversity she has showed, all the music sales and numbers she's accomplished and at an age as young as 26 y/o - you can't deny she's the biggest artist of the past 10 years and one of the very biggest females of all time.

You don't hear remarks like "P!nk/Taylor/Adele/etc are non-factors / have no impact" for no reason. There is a reason, and it's that - as opposed to a true pop entertainment icon like Rihanna - They have never attempted to step out of their safety zone, don't even have the personality, attitude to dare do that.
