I've heard the ratings are tragic but the show doesn't cost that much to produce.

I guess as long as its still making a profit it should go on since its kind of a part of Canadian history

I've watched since I was like 8, so um, cancelling would be devastation to me.

It's definitely fell, but it's like The Simpsons -- it just wouldn't feel normal if it wasn't on TV every week, no matter how much it falls.

The ratings are far down from the prime, but they got switched off CTV (was like Canada's FOX, NBC, ABC, or w/e) to MuchMusic (like a Canada MTV), so I guess they're fine as for now since they're not expected to get nearly as much viewers anymore.

I actually just recently got back into it because of the gay storyline. I stopped watching after all the originals were gone because I couldn't stand any of the new generation.

At this point it really shouldn't. The show has been on for over 14 years without interruptions. The cast itself has been completely renewed like 4 times already, they have like 0 viewers and it's still on somehow.

Just for its cult value it should stay on tbh.

Yeah. It's basically just the same recycled plot repeated over and over again but with different actors. I stopped watching like 4 years ago.

I'm torn.

One side of me wants it to stay on because it was my childhood, but the other side of me wants it to be put out it's misery because it's mainly just rich white people problems and bland actors

I stopped regularly watching in like Season 12(?). I remember last watching Drew sing some song to Bianca in Vegas

The storyline with "Triles" got me watching again a bit, but I stopped after they broke up
