If Nintendo was smart, they would buyout Sega and finally use some of their more "mature" titles as their own exclusives. People would run for a HD Jet Set Radio, Streets of Rage, Shenmue or Skies of Arcadia 2 (all unique titles that Nintendo can't really offer).

They should at least just give over the rights for the Sonic franchise over to Nintendo.

This makes me a bit sad my first Gamecube games were Sonic Adventure DX and SA2, and Sonic Heroes was one of my fav GCN games :/

Buy the rights and a couple of staffers familiar with the series development and do them so long overdue justice. The last great Sonic game was Heroes and even that was a little biT of a mess, even if they only grabbed Sonic and NiGHTS, if Nintendo could flip them for a quality downloadable game ($10) that sells well, it could justify a full game and make the investment worth it.

I would be upset but then again, there hasn't been a good Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2. Like over a decade ago.
