I remember there being talks of Raven being a guest even before the show aired. I think she was pictured on set or took a picture with Zendaya and that's where it started (the rumors)
I don't really watch DC anymore but it's nice to see them fix their act a little bit. From what I've seen, Girl Meets World also seems like a pretty good show. Noticed a scene the other day that dealt with abandonment, divorce, and family issues which is something the channel hasn't had in a while. Plus I love Boy Meets World so I'll probably check it out if it comes out on Netflix. It was all about cheap corny laughs with absurd plot lines for a while, all the shows they had were so cringeworthy.
