A lot of you have been asking about the Grammys this week and I just wanted to give you an update. I’m really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I’ll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience. I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist. Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I’m not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour.
I hope I’ll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!

She says she's busy with the 1989 tour planning. So she has time for one awards show performance, but not two? And she chooses The Brit Awards over The Grammies? Aren't the Grammies a much bigger deal?
I think Grammies must have asked her to perform either this year or next but not both. She must have chosen next year I guess. Otherwise I don't any viable reason for not performing this year

So music video will be "Style" ha only promo in US? I knew ha lazy (promo) streak usually comes next year after the release and peaks with super embarrassing tour setlists.... but at least there was always Grammy performance to look forward to.
Only 3 albums this decade have had 3 #1 singles. I hope 1989 joins them

I consider that a much more impressive accomplishment I would like Style to do.
