It would be exciting if it were at a venue 30 minutes away and cost $20-25. I'd have a blast and spend the rest on drinks. But to travel all the way to Vegas + room/food ($500), then probably paying upwards of $100 for ticket - it does not sound like entertainment, sounds like a waste to watch her wobble about stage, not singing her songs and acting like she guzzled up right before the curtain was drawn.
It depends on taste and these two can not be compared. I'm not going to a Mariah show, expecting what Britney does or vice versa. I see Britney for the production, great songs and the euphoric atmosphere a room full of fans emits, plus her natural presence on a stage despite her lowered skill level. Likewise, I'd go see Mariah for the catalog and great vocals - even if some may be lip-synced (much like a lot of Celine's performances are). But see Celine is a professional, despite when she lips, her shows are great. Mariah's productions are usually cheap. Throw in her not even bothering to sing and acting like a little child on stage, it does not sound very entertaining for the output from the fan.
