NOW WAIT! I thought Fergie was done and LA Love flopped. So it has a chance to be a decent hit? I already buried it in the grave

Uptown Funk’s non-consecutive run at the top – it was interrupted by X Factor winner Ben Haenow during Christmas Number 1 week – means the track has tallied the most weeks at Number 1 since Leona Lewis’s Bleeding Love in 2007.
Uptown Funk is also the most streamed track of the past seven days, notching up over 2.3m listens. Seven other tracks achieve more than a million streams this week: Hozier’s Take Me To Church (1.7m), Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud (1.4m), Wish You Were Here from Philip George (1.2m), Sia’s Elastic Heart (1.09m), Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin’ (1.08m), Alesso FT Tove Lo’s Heroes (1.06m) and Like I Can from Sam Smith (1.04m).
Hozier’s Take Me To Church climbs one place to reach a new chart peak at Number 2, while Black Eyed Peas’ frontwoman Fergie scores her first solo UK Top 40 hit since Big Girls Don’t Cry, which peaked at Number 2 in 2007. L.A. Love (La La) rockets over 120 places to land at this week’s Number 3.
Meghan Trainor’s Lips Are Movin’ falls two to Number 4 and Rihanna returns to the Top 40 with a brand-new entry at Number 5. The Barbadian star shock-released new single FourFive Seconds, with Kanye West and Paul McCartney earlier this week.
Albums
It’s all about that Number 1 for Meghan Trainor – her first album Title debuts at the top this week.
Title finished 5,000 copies ahead of nearest rival, Ed Sheeran’s x, to secure the Number 1 spot on the Official Albums Chart, following the album’s chart-topping run in the US, Canada and Australia. Meghan now has two Number 1s under her belt – her debut single All About That Bass topped the Official Singles Chart in 2014.
Last week’s Number 1, Uptown Special from Mark Ronson, takes a tumble to Number 3, while Sam Smith’s In The Lonely Hour and George Ezra’s Wanted On Voyage hold steady at Number 4 and 5 respectively. This means this week’s Official Albums Chart Top 5 contains releases that have all topped the chart at some point.

They were talking about the midweek predictions/numbers. The OP and title of this thread got changed but it was originally about Rihanna being in the midweek rankings.

Ouch for Riri. She normally debuts with 100k for her first singles. Even WFL did 80+ with only 4 days.
