Cooking for me is food prep for the week. So I'll stand at the stove with like 12kg of chicken on the stove and in the oven and a ****load of boiled greens (brocolli, beans, spinach, etc.) and sometimes brown rice and sweet potatoes. It's annoying. I normally do it on Sunday nights (I did some before) but it's always the same thing. It's so time consuming. But I prefer to have all my food for the week in the freezer and ready to go, rather than just cook a bit each night. But still, a week comes around so frequently that it feels like I have to do it every night anyway.
but u have to eat really old chicken on saturday then
I love cooking and despite being the younger make dinner for my family more often than either of my parents. Tonight for dinner I made Taco's which is ****ing easy but I can basically make anything as long as I've got a recipe. However, don't ask me to improvised because I'd most likely freak out and **** up the food.
I love it. It really relaxes me. Sometimes I regret I didn't end up being a professional cook since I opted for something else. I love to take my time when I am doing it. I really try to go for authentic asian dishes, always interested in Sezchuan cuisine, Thai (of course as almost everybody) and Japanese, especially from South Japan.
I used to hate it but now I love it. Ever since going vegan and eating clean and healthy I just really enjoy putting it all the delicious stuff together and then eat it. I love doing it after a long day, it's so relaxing
Not me running in here thinking it said "Do you like ****"
But no I don't like cooking. Too much hassle when I can just run to the nearest restaurant and have someone else do it for me while I browse my phone and catch up on the latest gossip.
