Nobody knows how to do sad better than Lykke Li. But this song isn't just sad, with it's huge, earth shattering chorus, it's strangely uplifting as well. If Love Me... was the song that got me into Lykke, this is the song that will make me a lifelong fan. The song just sounds like it would've been a huge hit, a classic, if it were released 30 years earlier. But as it is, it's only known to a fairly small amount of people (with good taste). At the very least, this song has lots of acclaim and is a fan favourite, small victories.
And if the penultimate chorus, where it's only drums and Lykke's pained vocals, isn't the single best moment in music this year, I don't know what is.
