That video was agitating.

I think the reason people generally like those parts in songs is your brain sort of imagines whatever lyrics it wants to be there. It sort of makes the song feel more relatable despite being about nothing on paper.

Hence the mixture of genres in the video including a lot of "singer songwriter" acts that probably get more respect for their writing talent than your average ATRL fave (unfairly).

No my fave isn't on the list.

It totally depends on the song. There are some songs where it works, but most of the time, it feels lazy.

The "ohhh" Vowel just sounds nice when it's sung over melodies. It also happens to be one of the easier vowels to sing on.
