Just when you thought that men’s grooming had hit levels of ridiculousness—from the rise of the lumbersexual (those flannel-wearing dudes with impeccable moustaches and coiffed Macklemore haircuts) to New York Knicks’ center player, Amare Stoudemire’s red wine baths—not to get drunk, but to rejuvenate his skin. Alas, there’s yet another manscaping trend that has been embraced by the California “cool guys” like pro-skater Dylan Rieder: nail polish.
I don't see this actually catching on. Like legit, dudes in the media have been wearing nailpolish for decades, plus back when i was in Jr. High there were plenty of emo's and punk's doing it. It never really left highschool and I dont really see it catching on with adult males other than ones involved in niche things like underground music scenes and tattoo parlors.
