Roc Nation is all about surprise releases / last minute announcements now : J. Cole, Kanye, Jay Z, Big Sean. That's part of the new rules and right now we literally have no indication on R8's release date etc., the album is finished (it's pretty obvious now), FFS was surprise released. That's a first for Rihanna.
I could see her launching the album pre-order right after the Grammys along with a 2nd single + video, then release the album a week later.
There's 2 options for me :
1. FFS is the lead single, R8 will be released 2 months later in March (traditional release)
2. FFS is the 1st single / a glimpse at the album but not the actual lead single, R8 will be out next month & the 2nd single / lead single will be released along with the album (pre order maybe)
I mean if the album is released as soon as next month then that means FFS was indeed just a glimpse at R8 and she could release the next single along with the album when it's out.
hopefully it stays inside the top 3 until the grammy performence (If there's one)
