Where is Katy's Superbowl Hype?
Katy's tagline is "Hyped for Halftime," but it seems that the hype is almost non-existent. The press is minimalist, and there doesn't even to be urgency for her press conference today at 4 p.m. Am I correct?

She doesn't need hype to succeed, unlike other artists.

Unless your ass is kissed by the media (Beyoncé) or people just wanna see how you're doing, wanna see you screw up (Madonna) you don't have Superbowl hype (Bruno Mars)
So, in other words, if you just give a cute perormance with a lot of hits people know, they will enjoy their drunken night and not scrutinize you and maybe you'll even get some iTunes updates from it
And that's the Superbowl Halftime Show, nothing more, nothing less

The same damn thing was said about Bruno's performance and he exceeded Bey and Madonna in the end In ratings and reception.

Katy will slay and she does have hype. It would help if she had a single out.

Why does she need to have hype for the most watched event in U.S? That's the biggest hype in itself.
She will do her thing on Sunday and that's enough for her.

You have a valid point. The inauguration scandal also built Beyonce's hype to greater heights than it already was.

However, Bruno Mars performance did not have as much impact or lasting effect as Beyonce or Madonna.

You're kidding. Not Google results. He was the most watched so he wins. What is this mess?

But honestly, there's no hype like at all considering Katy is an A-list superstar
I really think that her team is not making too much noise in purpose.

Hype for what? I'm sure people will enjoy her performance and purchase her songs. It's not like she's an amazing performer or a legend. She's not making a comeback either. She'll do just fine.

She doesn't need to. Just wait for the ratings.
