Fancy aka one of 2014's biggest songs is just at 4.1m in the US after all the slayage and hype and everything etc etc and you're complaning about Blank Space's 3m+ 2 months sales?
+ 1989 is slaying the charts
+ Shake It Off is still selling well and still in the top 10
+ Style is coming
There's literally so much going on for Taylor's new era
It will end up with a little more than 4m, it won't reach 5m that easy. It did slow down faster than I thought considering the huge hype it had at the beginning and the 7 weeks on the top, it reminds me of fancy, despite everything the sales were just OK.
The song is very forgettable tbh. Everyone bought it because it's the "latest taylor swift song," and if you haven't heard/own the latest taylor swift song than the kids/adults at school/work will make fun of/bully you. Overall, I feel like this era has been a decline/decay from the RED era since at this point Taylor had like 6 top 20 hits.
