So it was rumoured/kind of confirmed/talked about that it will drop in JANUARY but it seems like he changed the release date.

An NBA Player who is close to Drake first mentioned it in November . Skip to 5:30 where he mentions the mixtape and a January release date.

On December 17th 2014 Drake said at an NBA Game that hes working on some great things for the beginning of the year.

And now an insider called P. Reign (and another very close friend to Drake) practically confirmed the release of it and said:
