Probably. I think a lot of conservative people are threatened by women having rights, religious freedom, sexual freedom, homosexuals, etc.

Your culture? You're not Saudi or from an Arab country. You're not even from the Middle East. Why are Pakistanis always trying to be Middle Eastern? Your "culture" and "religion" is something developed by foreign invaders.
And no, nobody has to respect your "culture." It's strange you're so defensive about it when you live in a country where you have to keep your relationship with that elderly man of yours a secret. You must be very proud.

It's Muslim culture. Anyone who's ever been in contact with Muslim girls knows that you aren't allowed to shake their hands/hug them/look at their hair.
Of its a dated concept I'm but let them have their culture.

That's definitely BS. First, what's "Muslim culture"? Muslims come so many different parts of the world and two Muslims from one part of the world obviously won't be the same. I know a lot of Muslim women (mainly non-Middle Eastern ones like Pakistanis who are even more conservative) and a lot of them don't have a problem with shaking their hands with me and don't even cover their hair.

You mean the death penalty? If that's the case, murder is part of most of the world's cultures.
