Migos is giving back. The “Versace” trio donated $1,000 to a local high school, but it didn’t come without some backlash.

On behalf of their label Quality Control Music, they presented the oversized check with fellow rappers OG Maco, Skippa Da Flippa, and Rich the Kid at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta.

Despite the good deed, they were slammed by critics who didn’t feel the amount was substantial enough, and were named “Donkey of the Day” by “The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne Tha God.

For them to show up wearing chains and designer clothing, with a big obnoxious check of only $1,000 is not a good look in my opinion. $1,000 for a person is great, but to a school of ~1,000+ kids isn't anything.

It's always terminally broke people who want to tell others what to do with their money. Maybe if you had a better hustle, you could lead by example instead of criticizing.

It's not that they gave $1,000. It's how they did it.

Donating $1000 is absolutely useless.
And to people saying "they didn't have to give anything", do you know what a school budget looks like? $1000 will change nothing.

It's so funny how people think it's ok to criticize others for spending their hard earned money when they aren't obligated to.1,000 is actually okay for a school. What did those criticizing spend? Oh, nothing.

But are they giving 1000 ? That is helping. How much should they give?

I hate this concept. I think that everyone should feel obligated to use their "hard earned money" to help others. And I don't congratulate people who do donate. That's ridiculous.
