Why do the hardcore Christian/Bible freaks ONLY look at the "sex" part of the "relationship" between two people?

Ignorance? They want to act like they are the all mighty God?

The thing they completely miss is what goes on from the inside. They see one thing, but don't know how to look beyond that. Maybe, just maybe, these two people are twined together from the heart, but they only see the sex.

Sex is part of nature. Everyone has sex. Maybe God shouldn't have created sex then?

I've known some gay relationships that were so true/down to earth then any straight relationship could handle, meaning some straight relationships can be abusive or fake.

I remember this year going to CCD (Church classes for Confirmation) my teachers would say it's not right to be gay, and if you think that way you should come to the church to get helped, and hope people pray for you.

I so badly wanted to talk back to them, and ask them how ignorant they could get.

They said they even knew of a gay man who turned straight by going to get helped by the church. I was like

They probably scared the guy so much, he had no choice.
