This is gonna sound super boring and maybe too Blank Space-y (maybe could be a sequel). But I think a cute video would go as follows:
Opening Sequence:
Taylor driving a car in the desert and she stops at a small gas station. Scene is filled with slow motion shots of her dressed to the nines looking badass while getting gas. Background audio is filled with slow wind-chimes and distant dogs barking. She finishes up and gets back onto the road.
First Verse:
Aerial shot of the car and the day quickly turning into night. The camera then passes over the car and swoops down for a shot through the windshield. When it shows the inside of the car, Taylor is now in the passenger seat wearing a completely different outfit with different hair and a very suave guy driving. It also features profile shots of the car, which is now driving through Las Vegas, and general shots of the city all lit up.
First Chorus:
This scene is inspired by "Rebel Without A Cause". It would show Taylor and beau standing and facing each other near a cliff. The first stanza shows them embracing with Taylor's dress flowing in the wind, it progresses to show them walking away from the cliff and Taylor being handed a flag and her guy getting in the car. Taylor rips off her dress to show her in a little black dress, she waves the flag and the cars zoom past her as the chorus ends and the scene changes.
(If you don't know "Rebel Without A Cause", it's a James Dean movie and the scene I'm referencing is a scene where there is a game of chicken with some other guy to see who jumps out of their car first before the car goes hurling over a cliff.)
Second Verse:
It shows the car winding through the mountains with the guys hand on Taylor's lap.The scene is very Partition-y. It quickly jumps to them stumbling in the front door, whilst kissing and him taking off his coat. It then shows them in bed talking about him being with other girls.
Second Chorus:
Is pretty much a Swift-ified sex scene where she is wearing super high fashion lingerie. It's less sexual, more sensual. The whole time it shows her eying his keys. When the second stanza comes in, it turns into day and shows an above shot of them in bed. She quietly gets out of bed and throws on the dress she is wearing in the opening sequence, grabs his keys and steals his car.
Outro:
Shots of her singing in the car and throwing his belonging out the window. It then shows the guy she was with waking up confused and finding a note with a kiss mark on it. It shows her laughing and then pulling into the gas station. Before she gets out she calls 9-1-1 and says that she'd like to report a break in.
In short- the video is about her being involved with a bad boy who would get her into bad situations that she didn't like. So she decides to leave him, but to go out with a bang. The Opening Sequence has no relevance, just to bring everything full circle.
Also, fashion. This video is about the storyline, but the fashion is the focal point. With knee-high snakeskin boots, a hat and hair like her Vogue cover and a cool brown/beige colored dress for the Opening Sequence. A mosaic-inspired mini-dress with wavy bright red hair and black thigh high boots for the First Verse. A long, flowing, multi-shade-of-blue dress with her short blonde hair which transitions into a little black dress for the First Chorus and into the Second Verse. Fancy fancy fancy lingerie for the Second Chorus and back into the Opening Sequence outfit.
