No shade but I genuinely think she likes it because it means Rihanna has stepped out of her lane. If Rihanna had made another Talk That Talk/Unapologetic, she would still be in the same genre as Tinashe. Rih stepping out means there's more room for Tinashe to fill her shoes and take her old spot.
I won't be surprised in the slightest if the GP start referring to Tinashe as "the new Rihanna" in her next era.
Rihanna is a huge influence on Tinashe, so it's not surprising she'd like it.
